Dirk Baumgartl studied German literature and journalism at Bamberg university. After working for daily newspapers and magazines he joined Bruno Gmünder Publishing house 2004 and moved to Berlin. There he worked for Germanys most popular monthly gay lifestyle magazine MÄNNER as lifestyle and travel editor. In 2008 he became editor in chief of SPARTACUS TRAVELER - the only gay travel magazine within the German speaking countries which is published four times a year.
