Mioki lives in New Jersey and was born in 1949 the son of Czech and German immigrants in the US. Although he’s been drawing comics since he was a small child he has never had any professional training as an artist, which you wouldn’t know from seeing his work! The protagonists from SIDE BY SIDE, Rick and Evan, were introduced in STRIPPED – THE ILLUSTRATED MALE anthology.
