What was the nicest comment you ever got?
I have had some really nice comments on my site trevorwayneshow. Someone once said I was "iconic". That was something I was honored to have someone say. I appreciate all the comments. I really appreciate the ones on my artwork, though.

Where do you find inspiration for your tattoos?
I don't know honestly. Every tattoo I have ever gotten just hit me. I'd just have the idea and it would click, like it was meant to be. Any tattoo I had to think about longer than a week I never got. When I'm sure about something, I'm sure! Still to this day 12 years after my first tattoo, I don't regret it. I really don't believe I ever will.
As an actor/model they have helped in some ways and hurt in others. Me personally I don't think about them. Every shoot I do I don't even see the tattoos. I don't want to glide by on using them. I want to make photos and videos where the tattoos are secondary to the project, not the main focus. I think using tattoos as the main focus is easy and not challenging, and expected. I feel I've done a great job when I look at a photo and think it would be just as good as if I wasn't tattooed.

What was it like working with Justin Monroe?
It was fun! Justin has a great attitude on set. He makes it fun and light. It went by very fast. He is definitely one of the few who saw immediately what he wanted and shot it very quickly. He can take a very raw set and see the finished result very easily in his mind. I think because of that he would make a very talented director as well. His photo of me in the black hat with the fire behind me is one of my favorite pictures of all time. That was an instance of where we were on a time constraint and did that shot in 10 minutes. I wasn't expecting it to be one of my favorite shots ever, because of that, but Justin did an amazing job!

How does your collaboration with horror legend Clive Barker ("Hellraiser", "Candyman") look like?
Clive Barker is a true inspiration to me and I'm honored to call him a friend. He is so well known for his horror movies, but what has blown me away even more is his art. He is an amazing painter. He gave me a copy of his book of paintings and I still just flip through it in awe. Currently he is working on a erotic male book. It's dark. It is definitely not for the mainstream audience who likes looking at playgirl style shoots. He's not going all out horror with it, it is just more moody and strange. We did get extreme for some shots where I'm naked covered in lube and dirt and blood. Also some of my favorite shots ever! We also did a shoot with porn star Luca Dicoroso where we were both covered in crazy paints and wrestling naked. That was fun. The pics are very angry and surreal. That's what I like about Clives work. It's erotic, yet they create way more of a feeling and mood and draw you in-in all kinds of levels. We are just gonna keep going, and shooting until we both drop. One day maybe me and Clive will just do a book that's all collaboration between me and him! Yah, I can dream! Haha. Seriously we will have enough photos for that!

What kind of character do you like playing? It seems that you are either the tattooer or the evil guy.
It's hard in Hollywood! The casting people are so into stereotypes. So usually I get sent on Junkie, Crackhead, Murderer type roles...and while I've had some fun in the past (such as a pilot I shot where I got beat up by cops, and still have scars on my back from the handcuffs digging into me) , I really don't want to perpetuate the notion that tattooed people are losers. To me tattoos are art. They have nothing to do with drugs (which I've never done in my life), they have nothing to do with sexual fetishes, and nothing to do with being a bad person. I want to get past that...and help push past that way of thinking. I may never suceed, who knows? I have turned down paid work because they wanted me to play a racist skinhead. They just say "Oh well someone else will do it if you wont." and I don't care. I don't want that associated with me... actor or not. It's amazing how so many people watch TV and movies and really base their view of people and life on it.
All that being said I LOVE COMEDY!! I love playing a spaz or goof ball. I'm not afraid to look stupid for the sake of a laugh. If anything I love it more because it goes against what you'd expect from my look. My first real chance was on a sitcom, another pilot, where actress Brenda Blethyn (The Witches, Atonement) was crying to me about her divorce. You see the back of me and assume I'm some badass tattooed guy who probably doesn't care. Then they cut to the front and I'm crying even harder than her! Then it's she who has to calm me down. We did that in front of a live studio audience and I still get a high when I think about it! The energy and laughter was incredible. I want to play the fun guy, or slapstick comedy guy. There's so much negativity out there as it is. I'd rather put a smile on someone's face - even at my own expense- than to have someone afraid I'm going to mug them!
