Louis LaSalle
Geboren und aufgewachsen im Südwesten von Montana/USA, entdeckte Louis LaSalle dank seines Vaters früh die Fotografie. Ein Studium der Film- und Fernsehproduktion als auch der Computerwissenschaft brachte ihn nach Silicon Valley, Californien. Lange Stunden des Programmierens und das Bedürfnis nach einer ernsthaften kreativen Betätigung ließen ihn die Fotografie neu entdecken. Als Autodidakt in der Kunst der Aktaufnahme zeichnet sich seine Arbeit durch ein intensives Spiel von Licht und Schatten, starkem Kontrast und einer großen Tonbreite aus. Darüber hinaus interessieren ihn Sport, Theater … und er ist ein ziemlich guter Koch.

JC Etheredge has been drawing all his life. He can't remember when he started but as he says: "it was early". The author has always been intrigued and inspired by animation and comics, fascinated with the beauty of the human figure. His childhood work was primarily redrawn Peanuts comic strips with bulges and boobs. Before junior high, JC Etheredge was drawing nude Disney men in his sketchbooks.
He studied Illustration at Pratt Institute, got his BFA in Communications Design in 2002 and he is currently working out of Brooklyn.
"I hand draw and ink almost everything I do and can never be found without a trusty mechanical pencil or micron handy. I like to experiment with a variety of different media for color, but for the most part, I color digitally."
JC is working on a number of different projects of his own creation, but currently Anti-Heroes.net, his erotic illustration website, is the primary line of focus.

John Preston (1945–1994) zählt zu den bekanntesten schwulen Autoren der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Er engagierte sich früh in der amerikanischen Schwulenbewegung und arbeitete als Redakteur beim einflussreichen Magazin The Advocate. Neben Mr. Benson, der schnell zum Klassiker der SM-Literatur avancierte, veröffentlichte er zahlreiche weitere erotische Romane und Kurzgeschichten.
Preston gehörte zu den ersten Autoren, die Safe Sex Stories populär machten. Sein Nachlaß wird im Preston Archiv der Brown University in Portland aufbewahrt.

The photographer Robo Melo was born in Slovakia in 1968 and educated at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in Documentary film making. In the 90’s he worked as News director in Slovak television, cooperated with VTV Cable TV and film, television and advertising companies.
Since 2000 he has worked as post production manager, Photographer and Documentary cameraman for Bel Ami. He is the designer and editor of the Bel Ami Premiere Collection films. During this time he also runs and works for his own media production studio "29 films".
His most recent works, of which these pictures are an example, has been a return to analog "Lomo" photography.
